Prologue: A discreet collate of our Parliamentarians & IIT’ians.

• Like-wise in IIT there are limited numbers of seats in parliament.
• While we give the most competitive and highly attributed examination in the word, our colleagues select through sternest test of votes in the largest democracy of world.
• Finally all the geeks and gits from across India commence in the prestigious symbols of knowledge & governance.
• Unlike our parliamentarians whose tenure is confined to 5 years, one can halt in IIT for 7 years without a word of dispute being raised.
• Parliament has 33% women reservation while we have 27% OBC reservation, how much wouldn’t we like it other way round.
• We like them suffer with lack of attendance and western priorities
• Both suffer from insomnia, lucky us we don’t have camera looming overhead.
• Interruptions, disturbances, distractions are intrinsic activities of our lectures.Parliamentarians with their astuteness have taken it a notch further.
• While mobiles and other gadgets are strictly not allowed, though solemnly seen following such guidelines.
• Both believe in ‘spending’ each and every second of their time in respective places. Though synonyms of spending are widely different.
• Finally the most important both are very futuristic and career orientated. Try to amass as much ‘wealth’ they can from the system for their future endeavors.
